Privacy Policy

Summary

Sap Steam does not collect, store on servers, sell or share any personal data. The game works fully offline and everything you create stays on your device.

Data stored on your device

• Game progress (trees, syrup, money, seasons, achievements, journal) in a small local save file inside the app's private storage.
• Preferences such as sound, haptics, hints and reminders, stored in the device's standard app settings.
• An optional label picture you choose, saved as a compressed image inside the app's private storage.

This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app, or using "Erase all progress" in Settings, removes it.

Camera and photo library

If you design a custom bottle label, you may take a photo with the camera or pick one from your photo library. The picture is used only to draw the label inside the game. If you tap "Save to Photos", the finished label image is added to your library using add-only access. The app never reads other photos and never uploads images.

Notifications

If you allow it, Sap Steam schedules local reminders on your device, for example when buckets are full or the boil is done. No push service, device token or server is involved. You can turn reminders off in the game's Settings or in iOS Settings.

What we do not do

• No accounts or sign-in.
• No analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs.
• No tracking across apps or websites, and no tracking domains.
• No in-app purchases and no location access.

Children

The game does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Questions about privacy can be sent through the Sap Steam support page.
